Dr. Silas L. McCormick serves as Executive Director of Lincoln Christian Institute (formerly Lincoln Christian University), an organization devoted to educating, equipping, and encouraging churches and those who lead them.
Silas has more than 20 years of experience in education, nonprofit, and ministry leadership across a wide variety of organizations. He is a licensed attorney, an ordained minister, and a work-in-progress.
Silas received his Bachelor of Arts (Christian Education) from Lincoln Christian College; his Master of Education and Doctor of Philosophy (Higher Education Administration) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and his Juris Doctor (Law) from The Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law. He is currently enrolled in a Doctor of Ministry program focusing on pastoral leadership at Wheaton College.
Silas and his family live in Sherman, Illinois, and attend Lake Fork Christian Church and West Side Christian Church.
The Messengers for Christ quintent is a local group from Springfield, Illinois. This gospel group is from Monroe Street Christian Church in Springfield, Illinois. They have been singing together for quite a few years, and have a rich history of encouraging believers in our area.
