The General Board Meeting brings together representatives from our supporting churches to review the ministry and mission of LSCA. During this gathering, the Manager provides an update on current operations and ongoing projects, and the Treasurer presents a financial report. The board also discusses upcoming events, emerging needs, and any special business requiring attention. This meeting helps guide the direction of the camp and ensures we remain faithful stewards of the resources and opportunities God has entrusted to us.
Run Your Race Scholarship 5K is a timed 5K event held on camp property at Lake Springfield Christian Assembly. The race takes place on a mixed-surface course, primarily grass, and is open to runners and walkers of all experience levels. This event serves as a fundraiser for the LSCA Scholarship Fund, helping ensure that students are able to attend summer camp regardless of financial barriers. Participants will experience a scenic course that winds through camp, with views of the lake and surrounding grounds. All registered runners will receive a race t-shirt, other goodies, and official timing results will be provided. Register by May 15 to guarantee your t-shirt size. Registrations after this date are not guaranteed a shirt or preferred size. The race will begin promptly at 8:30 AM. Participants are encouraged to arrive early, as packet pickup will take place prior to the start of the race. Additional details regarding packet pickup times and location will be provided in advance of the event. This inaugural event is designed to be both competitive and community-focused, bringing together campers, families, and supporters of LSCA for a meaningful start to the summer season. $35 — Early Bird (Before April 1st) $40 — Standard $45 — Late / race week (After May 23rd)

Adventure 56 is perfect for campers who want to spend their entire session outdoors and experience camp in a more rugged, close-knit way. Designed specifically for 5th and 6th graders, this camp takes place at our Cypress Cove site and keeps the whole group immersed in nature from start to finish. Campers cook some meals over the fire, shoot archery, swim in the pool, explore the outdoors, and may even enjoy tubing on the lake depending on conditions and leadership plans. With a smaller group size and the quiet setting of Cypress Cove, Adventure 56 creates space for deeper friendships, hands-on learning, and meaningful conversations about following Christ. It’s a camp where the pace slows down, the fun ramps up, and campers discover confidence and community in a new environment. Adventure 56 is an unforgettable outdoor experience for young adventurers ready to grow, try new things, and encounter God in creation.
