SUMMARY:Run Your Race Scholarship 5K
DESCRIPTION:Run Your Race Scholarship 5K is a timed 5K event held on camp property at Lake Springfield Christian Assembly. The race takes place on a mixed-surface course\, primarily grass\, and is open to runners and walkers of all experience levels. This event serves as a fundraiser for the LSCA Scholarship Fund\, helping ensure that students are able to attend summer camp regardless of financial barriers. \n\n\n\nParticipants will experience a scenic course that winds through camp\, with views of the lake and surrounding grounds. All registered runners will receive a race t-shirt\, other goodies\, and official timing results will be provided. \n\n\n\nRegister by May 15 to guarantee your t-shirt size. Registrations after this date are not guaranteed a shirt or preferred size. \n\n\n\nThe race will begin promptly at 8:30 AM. Participants are encouraged to arrive early\, as packet pickup will take place prior to the start of the race. DESCRIPTION:Adventure 78 takes middle school campers into a more rugged\, hands-on camp experience designed specifically for their age group. Held at our Cypress Cove location\, this session keeps the entire camp outdoors—from meals cooked over the fire to daily activities that stretch skills and build teamwork. Campers shoot archery\, swim\, explore the outdoors\, play field games\, and may enjoy tubing or other lake activities depending on conditions and leadership plans. \n\n\n\nWith a smaller group size than traditional overnight camps\, Adventure 78 fosters tight friendships\, deeper conversations\, and a space where campers feel known and supported. DESCRIPTION:Discovery Camps run Monday through Friday throughout the summer for campers entering 2nd through 4th grade. This is a full-day program with no overnight stay. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for parents\, grandparents\, or guardians to share a memory-making experience together at camp. DESCRIPTION:Junior High Camp is designed for students entering 7th and 8th grade who are ready for a week packed with excitement\, challenge\, and opportunities to grow. Campers stay in air-conditioned dorms\, enjoy delicious from-scratch meals\, and spend their days swimming\, boating\, playing gaga ball and 9-square\, competing in team challenges\, trying archery\, and jumping into camp-wide games that match their energy. \n\n\n\nBut the heart of Junior High Camp goes deeper than the activities. Students gather daily for worship\, Bible teaching\, small group discussions\, and personal reflection—creating space for real questions\, real conversations\, and real spiritual growth. This age group is navigating big transitions\, and camp provides a welcoming community where they can build friendships\, gain confidence\, and better understand their identity in Christ. \n\n\n\nCampers also hear from our summer missionary partner and have chances to support their ministry through canteen offerings throughout the week. \n\n\n\nJunior High Camp is a powerful blend of fun\, challenge\, and faith formation—an unforgettable week where students experience God\, community\, and adventure in a whole new way. \n\n\n\n\nRegister Here!!!
